Aims:

- To map out the existing Accountability mechanisms in the Local Self Governing Bodies.

- To prepare comprehensive report of the structure of the State Government of Maharashtra.

- To facilitate a reconsideration of the overall structure of a typical State Government by the political directorate in the context of the Government’s core role and strategic objectives and in the light of current practice in other Indian States (Maharashtra in this case) and in other countries.
