Title: Modernizing District Administration

 

Duration: 4 months. (From 1st January – 30th April)

Cost of the Project: 5 Lakhs

Aims:

-         To give recommendations for the modernisation of the District Administration on the basis of Decentralisation, Administrative Reforms, Liberalisation and Good Governance Principles.

 

Present Status:

-         The Report for the first phase is complete and submitted to CGG Hyderabad. (The present structure of District Administration in Maharashtra)

-         Several Interviews have been conducted of Deputy Collectors and Collectors to understand the perspectives of the currently working officers of District Administration.

-         A workshop of various District level Officers is proposed to be held from 14th – 15th of April

-         The Report of the final phase will be completed and submitted to CGG towards the end of this month.
