A) After selection by the
Maharashtra Public Service Commission joined the Maharashtra
Finance and Accounts Service Class I in February 1975 and
completed the training,till January 1976.
B)
From Jan.1976 to Aug.1985
:
Functioned as Dy. Chief Auditor (for local bodies-
Zilla Parishads, Municipal Councils etc) Zonal Accounts
Officer (Cotton Monopoly Procurement) Treasury Officer and
Comptroller of Konkan Agricultural University (MFAS Class
I). This experience encompasses,apart from experience in
various finance & Accounts areas, experience in works
matters like tender processing& finalizing, works accounts
and audit, contract related issues and claims etc. Worked as
a member of Study Group which finalized the Accounts Code
for Agriculture Universities
C)
From Aug. 1985 to Aug. 1988 :
Worked in Food and Civil supplies Department dealing
with financial advise matters (MFAS Class – I Senior, Deputy
Director) including pricing of various commodities
distributed through fair price shops and related issues.
D)
From August 1988 to June 1992:
Then took up assignment in Public
Works Department (GoM) as Special Officer initially and
later as Internal Financial Adviser in Public Works
Department,Mantralaya from August 1988 to June 1992 This
assignment involved dealing with interpretation and up-
dating Public Works Manual and Accounts Code of
Maharashtra and dealing Works matters, as above, at State
Level. Brought out revised editions of above publications
and revised Delegation of Powers under MPW MANUAL. Also
worked as a member of Study Group for finalizing revised
Accounts Code for Zilla Parishad / Panchyat Samitees
constituted by Rural Development Department.
E)
From June 1992 June1996:
Functioned as Financial Adviser, State
Coop. Milk Federation, Mumbai (Mahananda Dairy) and
Maharashtra Council for Agriculture Education and Research
Pune. These assignments involved dealing with commercial
activity as also educational activity. At the council
expedited the construction of new office Building and
proposals for augmenting the resources of the Agriculture
Universities.
F)
From June 1996 to June 1999:
Functioned as Chief Accounts and Finance
Officer of Maharashtra Krishna Valley Development
Corporation. Here established the commercial accounting
System at H. O. with detailed guidelines for linking single
entry accounts items to double entry systems and also
contributed significantly in evolving the tender and
contract documents, contractors registration system and
related matters, besides handling works related all issues,
as also the raising of funds through Public and Private
Bonds Issues and related financial matters.
G) From June 1999 to June 2001 :
Functioned as
Financial Adviser with Maharashtra State Warehousing
Corporation. Mainly handled, apart from financial matters,
works matters from finance angle in the programme of
warehouse construction.
H) From June 2001
to July 2004:
Functioned as a
Financial Advisor with (scrutiny of estimates, tender
finalization, contract related issues) Maharashtra Jeevan
Pradhikaran (3 Years). In MJP handled issues regarding
tenders, contract related as also raising of funds through
Bonds and Institutional Finance.
I) From July 2004
Onwards:
Functioning with
YASHADA, Pune as Financial Adviser & Professor. Apart from
dealing with financial matters conducting training courses
of Govt. Officers in Finance and Administration areas.
Undergone DTS, DOT and EOT courses conducted under the aegis
of Dept. of Personnel and Training, GoI. Presently handling,
additionally, the training issues and matters of
Administrative Training Institute at YASHADA.
