Experience

• Operation and maintenance of large thermal power stations. Gained expertise in maintenance of Boilers, Turbines, Generator, Coal Handling, Ash Handling and other support systems. Worked in Paras, Bhusawal, Parli, Nasik thermal power stations.

• Worked as Dy. Chief Engineer (Training), Incharge of Eklahara – Nasik training center for post recruitment training programmes for Junior Engineers Gen./Distribution/EHVT trainees. Successfully implemented various training modules for Jr. Engrs., refresher courses for Line staff and EHVT staff.

• Worked as Dy. Chief Engineer (hydro), incharge of Koyana Hydro Generating Project, Pophali. During that period Koyana Stage 4, (4*250 MW Units) was commissioned. All related problems and liason with Irrigation Authorities were handled.

• Worked as Chief Engineer (Generation) Bhusawal, as Incharge of Bhusawal and Paras Thermal Power Stations. Computerisation and establishment of Power Plant Management System (PPMS) was done during that tenure.

• ISO 9001-2000 Certification was achieved by me for Pophali, Bhusawal and Paras Power Stations.

• After retirement, passed Energy Auditor’s Certifying Exam. with Distinction in April 2006 and worked  as visiting faculty for Bureau of Energy Efficiency Exam. coaching classes, being conducted by Institution of Engineers Pune local center.

• Since January 2007 joined as Director, YASHADA Pune, in Centre for Power Sector Development.
